This module dependency in Bootstrap-3 so this will not work with Bootstrap5 due to attributes name had renamed in Bootstrap5.
Also i did not find "Modal Bootstrap" option in "Add new Group" list.
I followed below steps in Drupal 10.
After installing, go to:
- Administration » Structure » Content Types » Manage display
- In the drop down select: "Modal Bootstrap"
- Click to button: "Add group"
- And create your field group
- Status changed to Needs work
