When updating to version 4.x it is worth noting that you may need to update some of the settings. This is done by selecting the apply button, from your masonry view setting modal, and when doing so it will highlight any values that need to be updated. For me I had to update the gutter width as this was causing an issue when calling Masonry, and would fail to initialise.
