To describe this in more depth after speaking with the reporter. If a menu isn't enabled in the menu settings for a node, it won't show up as an option in the node edit form and this may confuse users. This is not an issue specific to this module, it exists in the core implementation, and menu link weight without this module added on.
I’ll put this one on hold for the moment. I’ll either update the module help and description to make sure it indicates this info, add a tip icon with a tip about where to enable menus if you have permissions, or both.
