I do not get the steps I need to follow in order to have a textarea with text to copy

composer require 'drupal/clipboardjs:^2.0' "DONE"

The plugin should now be located at "sites/all/libraries/clipboard.js/dist/clipboard.js "DONE"

The Clipboard.js can be added to any text field by visiting the manage display
page for the entity and and choosing Clipboard.js as the field formatter.

How?

Sorry for my lack of knowledge, I've been pasting the samples codes around without success....
