Doesn't work with same page links not starting with #

This is the same problem as in https://www.drupal.org/project/animated_scroll_to/issues/3322695 🐛 Doesn't work with same page links not starting with # Active but for Version 2.0.0

Drupal 10.1.0
PHP8.1
Module version 2.0.0

1. If I make an inpage link like #cle then it work
2. If I make a link like /node/34#cle and click from another page, then it works
3. If I make a link like /node/34#cle and click from the same page as where the element with id="cle" is, then it does not work.

I have both the options "Enable scrolling for links that will trigger a page reload" and "Enable scrolling for in-page links" enabled on the settings page
