When you enter the option in the menu entry creation it gives validation error. Before this did not happen because there are entries with this value in my production site.
I have been seeing that there was alternatives, like the one attached in the screenshots but they don't work either.
The link field itself has the option written in the help text
Reconside a alternative or mark link field as optional and change help text if it is deprecated.
