Linking within the Advanced Help framework

The Drupal 7 version allowed linking to another file within the Advanced Help framework with:

<a href="&topic:help_example/lorem&amp">Lorem ipsum</a>

and inline images could be embedded with:

<img src="&path&example.png"/>

This no longer works.
