The DST has announced that D7 will go End of Life on August 1st 2023 with limited extended support available until Jan 5 2025.
As part of this End of Life Announcement the DST has announced that not all security issues will be considered for private publication and may be put in the public queue without any attempt to privately fix them.
This coupled with the fact that we do not have a D7 maintainer at this time likely means we should mark the D7 branch unsupported as we will not be able to guarantee security of the release after August 1st 2023.
On August 1st mark the D7 branch unsupported due to lack of full security coverage and lack of maintainer.
