OK I think the most important parts have some test coverage. Let's get this in. I disabled 1 test which is consistently failing on the bot for mysterious reasons. I looked into it several times but it is not clear why the flexboxes are not returned. The code path looks pretty similar to the others, and on several different machines it passes.
