Indeed interesting, thanks! Probably the best approach to integrating with this would be to write a Drupal module that acts as a bridge between Search API and SEAL. Or, potentially, to rewrite the Search API to be based on SEAL – but I doubt that’s doable with a reasonable amount of effort.
