Migration from media_acquiadam 1.x / compatibility with Acquia DAM Classic Service?

My Drupal 9 site uses media_acquiadam 1.x with the Acquia DAM Classic Service. Is there a migration path to media_webdam 2.x and will it work with the Acquia DAM Classic Service?
