views-bootstrap-carousel Unexpected token "name" of value "if"

Problem/Motivation

Updated to Drupal 10.0.9 using Views Bootstrap 5.4.0.
Where the carousel is used in a view I'm getting the following fatal error:
Twig\Error\SyntaxError: Unexpected token "name" of value "if" ("end of statement block" expected). in Twig\TokenStream->expect() (line 33 of web/modules/contrib/views_bootstrap/templates/views-bootstrap-carousel.html.twig).
Anyone else bumped into this?
