Visa SCA (3DS) not supported

Problem/Motivation

Visa cards are being declined by the bank due to CARD_DECLINED_VERIFICATION_REQUIRED error. UK/Europe.

Steps to reproduce

• Install Commerce Square and set up a Square payment gateway
• Attempt payment with UK/European Visa card

Visa requires strong customer authentication in the UK and Europe https://www.visa.co.uk/partner-with-us/payment-technology/strong-customer-authentication.html. It does not seem that the Commerce Square module supports this.

If this is in fact supported and I have just not set it up correctly please can you point me in the direction of some documentation?
