Quantity as result of a formula. Replace the "Quantity" label

Updated 23 May 2023, about 1 year ago

For some Commerce websites (Reservations, Appointments, Bookings, Rental, etc) the quantity is calculated as a difference between End Point and Start Point (ex. CheckOut date - CheckIn date) and represents the quantity of time the customer is charged for (minutes, hours, days, etc).

The following issues:
1) How to setup Quantity as a result of a formula = End Point - Start Point (CheckOut Date – CheckIn Date)?
2) How to change the "Quantity" label to “Hours", "No of Days” or something else?

This isn't really a feature request, but a support request which aren't answered from this queue. The Commerce Slack channel or even Stackexchange would be a better fit for this.
Besides, updating the label might not be your only challenge, if that is your only "challenge", you can do this via a hook_form_alter() or even just alter the base field definition to alter the quantity field label globally (but again, there are probably other things you have to figure out before that.
