Many sites use Entity Browser to provide an interface for selecting media and other entities. Entity Browser can easily be configured to include any Brandfolder-based media entities, but there's no mechanism for directly browsing Brandfolder from an EB context and interacting with assets that do not already exist in Drupal.
Create an EB widget plugin that will provide the same Brandfolder browser interface and general workflow as is currently provided for Media Library contexts.
New "Brandfolder Browser" widget option for entity browsers. This will be exclusively for selecting image assets/attachments from Brandfolder. Admins will select a Brandfolder-sourced media type to associate with each widget. The media type can optionally be associated with a subset of the Brandfolder library, such that only certain Brandfolder assets will appear in the browser within the EB widget.
