Settings assume default file

Problem/Motivation

Trying to create settings for a data xlsx export results in errors:
Call to a member function get() on null in Drupal\views\Plugin\views\filter\FilterPluginBase->storeExposedInput()
AssertionError: Cannot load the "file" entity with NULL ID. in assert() (line 295 of /core/lib/Drupal/Core/Entity/EntityStorageBase.php)

Steps to reproduce

Create a new data export view to export xlsx.
Try to change the path and file settings.
