cannot enable from UI

Problem/Motivation

Drupal 10.0.8

The document says the new release has removed the independence on machine name, but the new release cannot be enabled through UI. A warning is thrown:

A machine name field has to be available for taxonomy terms. To fix this you can either install the taxonomy_machine_name module, or define a machine name manually (See README.md). (Currently using Facets Short Pretty Paths: Machine name field version machine_name)

There is a check of the machine name in the facets_short_pretty_paths.install file. I commented them out and can install the module.
