Should display values use $this->t() in defaultSettings()?

Is there precedence for something like this in other core/contrib modules?

I've looked through all the Formatters in core, and I don't think any of them have displayed values in the settings. I'm not sure if there are other types of core form that we could draw influence from. Could also look at contrib modules, but I haven't yet.

I think as it's config you should set the schema appropriately, in this case I think you'd want to switch them from string to label.

Ah, possibly duplicated by 🐛 Labels are not translated Closed: duplicate which also considers the trim_suffix as something that needs to be translated.

Yes, it looks like this is a duplicate of 🐛 Labels are not translated Closed: duplicate . As a lot more work has happened on that one, I think this one can be closed.

As discussed above, this is a duplicate of 🐛 Labels are not translated Closed: duplicate - setting Status as such.
