I don't have all the details at hand right now, but he has been posting about his progress in the #ECA channel on Drupal Slack: https://drupal.slack.com/archives/C0287U62CSG It's probably worth pinging him there to find out if he already has something to share.

I am currently documenting a process for using ECA to run Room Reservation systems on Drupal 9/10. The D7 "Resource Conflict" module was the glue that held my systems together for years. I have a working proof of concept for Resource Conflict Validation using ECA. My solution involves a "Validation View" that ECA consumes when saving or updating Reservations. My plan is to update this documentation while I work on that project. FYI, my target deadline for a workable Reservation system is July 1.

I welcome comments, questions, suggestions or ideas for improvement.

While going through your documentation it came to mind that you may want to turn this into a recipe, the new kid on the block in Drupal which is supposed to replace distributions.
