We are trying to find a simple solution to displaying a remote PDF file (could be on any server anywhere) in a rendered field in our Drupal site.
We want to render the remote PDF file using pdf.js
The PDF module → seems to give us exactly what we want but it only seems to work for actual, local files (or Media items) and we need it to render a remote file from anywhere provided of course that the file is publicly-accessible.
We were wondering whether this module might help but we are not sure if it's overkill for what seems like it should be a relatively simple thing to do?
Can anyone offer any help or advice please?
