Error in npm install

I'm running:

node.js - v16.15.0
npm - 8.5.5

Had to recently issued a
npm install
npm audit fix --force

to get it to compile, but running the compile command still works.
gulp styles

I rarely compile the JS nor run the local http server since I hold a local LAMP stack.

I am using as -
node.js - v16.18.1
npm - 8.19.2

and compiling command gulp using

I am not getting any type error.
