Email Attribute is not being received from the server

Problem/Motivation

I'm getting the error that the Email Attribute is not being set after I set up everything. I selected "signInNames.emailAddress" from the provided list, and it's not working. I selected others from that list and put "email_address", "email-address", "email" and still got the same error. The other attributes are being received as they should.
The version of the module is 4.0.3.
