Modal does not close on block submit

Please find a patch. Given the Layout Builder Iframe Modal module is doing something similar, I checked how it is handling the case. This is purely a copy of their fix.

As I am not 100% confortable with the fix, I am submitting a patch for review instead of pushing straight to dev branch.
