Drupal core provides the file_usage table to track which entities use file entities. Beyond this, contrib entity_usage provides for tracking any Drupal entity usage of another entity.
However, Patternkit doesn't integrate with either of these systems, so you can't know whether which entities are being used by PK blocks. For example, if a PK block uses a token to render an image, Drupal will not tell you about this.
