What is the difference with the webform core "scheduled mail" handler

I was doing research into sending mails to every webform submission and found this module. I also found the webform included module "webform_scheduled_email".
At first sight the module included in webform can be used to achieve the same thing as this module?
What exactly are the differences that set this module apart?
