Filter option doesn't show up

I have verf 2.0.0 installed, and I have a view that I have added a "User referenced from" relationship for, but "Entity Reference Exposed Filters Node Titles" doesn't show as an available filter at all when adding a filter. I was trying to follow the new read me, but I think the directions are wrong maybe? Am I doing it wrong?
