anonymous users access denied when try to take quiz

Hi, I'm relatively new at Drupal. I installed the quiz module, created a dummy quiz, set "Take quiz" and "View any quizzes" permissions for anonymous and authenticated users. In incognito, without logging in, I can view the quiz but got "access denied" when clicking on start quiz button.

Would appreciate some directions please. The site is using Drupal 9. Thanks!
