Weird File copying bug appeared with Asset Injector (follow-up)

Created on 1 March 2023, over 1 year ago

Problem/Motivation

This is a follow-up to the initial issue β†’ of the same name which cannot be re-opened.

As per the last 3 comments ( #7 β†’ , #8, #9), the reported issue does not appear to be resolved: i.e. running drush cr deletes the asset_injector directory and breaks the current theme.

This can be manually fixed by changing ownership and group of the asset_injector directory and updating permissions, after doing so all appears to be ok until the next drush cr | updb | cron which will break it again.

I'm using asset injector 8.x-2.16 on a Drupal 9.5.3 multisite installation on Acquia.

For the above reasons, setting priority to major seems to make sense.

p.s. I've seen this warning a couple oftimes:

Warning: rmdir(/opt/drupal/docroot/sites/site-6/files/asset_injector): Permission denied in Drupal\Core\File\FileSystem->rmdir() (line 268 of core/lib/Drupal/Core/File/FileSystem.php).

You should change the user or permissions on the user that drush acts as. This module does not provide support for server setups or drush connections.
