Change the field to text area

Problem/Motivation

Hi,

Currently there is a text "Link field is used to store the essential information about the media item"
Does this embedding work in a custom content type body field, with ckeditor?

Or does it always need the link field, where user has to paste the social media link and nothing else can be in that field?
