Upgrade Google Analytics to 4.x

I would like to know if there is any plans to upgrade Google Analytics module to 4.x.

With the 4.x release, all Drupal customers should be able to update both from 8.x-3.x and 8.x-2.x versions of the module. The only reason to continue using the 2.x version of the module is if you implemented custom javascript or code that depends on the 2.x module.
