No support for Views created using Views Custom Table.

Problem/Motivation

My view is not available to select as the filter view. Filter view is created off a Views Custom Table. I see this was supposedly fixed here: 💬 view_custom_table support Fixed ; but it is not fixed in 1.2 or the latest 1.x-dev.
