Examples module missing, missing config form

Problem/Motivation

Since updating the module to 1.0@RC I no longer see the 'Examples' module, and the settings page `admin/config/user-interface/cl-components` doesn't show the textarea to add paths to components.

I can see the 4 example stories in Storybook, but they fail to load, saying "Unable to find component. Check that the module or theme containing the component is enabled and matches the stories file name.". Components added to my custom theme are not showing at all, seemingly with no way to tell Drupal where to look for them. Has the method changed & not been updated in the docs?

Fresh install on D9.5.3 / PHP 8.1
