The default contextual links that the default contextual links module places in nodes, are removed by open social.
This likely is to prevent people from using the edit link in them.
However, other modules that rely on contextual links can therefore not be used, such as QuickEdit.
Open Social has contextual links in other places like the Hero region, but I like to have them in the content region.
1) Support the intended use of drupal contextual links module, be leaving the contextual links in the node region with their full functionality.
2) If this above resolution 1) really not desired for some reason (please clarify why?) then create a dedicated Open Social contextual links module that alters the default behavior, so that when using other modules that depend on the contextual links module, the Open Social contextual links module can be disabled.
3) If the above resolution 2) is not desired (please clarify why?) then please provide site builders/developers guidance how to adapt code to recover the default presence and behavior of contextual links in nodes.
