It is not possible to set attributes on the page via a preprocess hook.

Problem/Motivation

Currently it's not possible to set extra attributes on a page with eg a preprocess_page hook.

Steps to reproduce

write a hook_preprocess_page and set an attribute.

Proposed resolution

It's possible to add attributes on a page via a proprocess_hook.
