It's pretty common for 2 factor systems to allow 'remember this device' functionality. Without it, it becomes very tedious using 2fa especially when your site enforces automated logouts. Ideally having a feature to allow users to 'remember this device' while entering their 2fa code would be nice.
Create a configurable option to allow users to 'remember' their 2fa login on the selected device. Typically the remembrance time is 30 days but to allow for flexibility in organization policies allowing admins to configure the duration for remembering would be nice.
For users, when entering their 2fa code, a simple 'remember this device for x days' or similar would be ideal.
For administrators, a checkbox in the 2fa settings 'allow users to remember their devices', and an optional 'remember duration (default 30 days)' field would be ideal.
