Unable to change Wishlist settings while the Variation block is placed using Layout Builder

Problem/Motivation

When the variation block is placed using Display builder, changed settings are not accepted (Enable wishlist, weight and textbutton override label text. They can be changed but are not stored.

Steps to reproduce

Using Drupal 9.5.2 and Layoutbuilder 9.5.2, place the variations block on the page. Try to change for example the label. Even though it seems to stick the display is not updated. .
Changing the settings on the manage display tab, without using Layout builder, works. If the Variations block is then inserted into the Layout builder layout, the changed settings are applied, but again cannot be modified.
