- My site install in multisite way
- latest 8.x-1.6 install, enable and config in standard way, machine name "primary" and can find 2 js file in google_tag/primary/
- in GTM , run preview, failed to find tag, and I cannot find the tag in page source as well
- I have ctool installed, but cannot find the suggested issue 3114467 core patch to apply, would someone please assist?
- My site also enabled AdvAgg modules, but I did uninstall this and test still the same missing tag.
In the meanwhile, I have enabled to Google Analytics module which works. My site is https://mockmoon.studio

This patch file → is the intended change. Whether it "applies" to the core release you are running I do not know (patch is 3 years old).
Other things you might try are reviewing the snippet insertion conditions and enabling debug output from the settings form for this module. If the problem is not the core code, the debug output should give some helpful information.
