Deletion does not check if pdf preview file actually exists

I am receiving the same notice in my log after I create new media at the same time as creating new content.

Example notice:
The file public://pdfpreview/16498-data-4.png was not deleted because it does not exist.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Select Content > Add content
2. Select content type that has a media field
3. Select Add media
4. Choose Files > Upload files > Save and insert
5. Save to publish

If I create the media first, then "reference existing media in library" to attach to content, there is no error logged.

I applied the patch and verified it works. Notice went away.
