After update to acquia search 3.1.3 are showing a differen results.

I commented out the ->removeField code from RemoveBoost.php and it has no impact. Only toggling back on eDisMax resolves the issue for me. Which I agree is kind of strange, because it doesn't seem like my boost alter in #3 should be tied to eDisMax

Part of a fix was shipped in https://www.drupal.org/project/acquia_search/releases/3.1.4 → – not around eDisMax but boots were being removed.

Marking as fixed. We fixed one issue in #3210427: eDisMax seems to break boost by content type → . The other is to make try enabling eDisMax if it is no longer enabled.
