Does not decrypt for the first time. 2nd attempt works

Problem/Motivation

I am running a fresh installation of Drupal 9. When I try to set the password on endpoint /en/user/1/edit, it fails for the first time but works the 2nd time. Not sure why this is happening.

Steps to reproduce

1. Fresh installation for latest version of Drupal 9.5.1
2. Install this plugin using composer
3. Go go /en/user/1/edit and try to set the password
