I have exactly the same problem, and currently this issue prevents me to use this module.
Up until recently I hadn't had any issues with this module, however, it has now stopped working, giving only the "This value should not be null" error. I downgraded Webform back to 6.0 but still had the issue so I'm guessing it's related to Drupal 9.5.x or PHP 8.x.
There isn't any idication in the log as to what the problem might be, and I even created a simple webform with only an email address field, but the error was still produced.
If someone could please take a look at it I would appreciate it.
