The HREF to Media tamper is downloading and converting to media external files, I think it could be good in some cases, but there are other cases where you only need to covert to media only the assets that are part of the source website.
Use the HREF to Media tamper and you will see it is trying to download and convert all files regardless the domain.
Add an option for the tamper to only process relative paths to the source domain.
