Problem/Motivation

The module's compose.json requires the lightsaml/lightsaml libaray. This library has been renamed to litesaml/lightsaml

Steps to reproduce

run composer require drupal/light_saml_idp and notice the abandoned notice.

Proposed resolution

Update the composer.json to require the litesaml/lightsaml library
