Emma + Shane considerations:
firstly who we want to test with (as this will inform how we recruit) and secondly what we want to test – (as this will inform the scenarios and test scripts)
Related to the audiences is the motivations and the tasks they would naturally be looking to complete on these pages – am I right in assuming we want to confirm our assumption that these pages provide marketers/developers with the right information and all they need to make a decision about whether to use Drupal or not?
Or are we looking for more specific information – e.g. how effectively these pages support developers/marketers doing specific related tasks – e.g. for a marketer: can they find information about how well Drupal supports integrated marketing tools, can they find out about Drupal licensing, for a developer: can they find information about how Drupal supports accessibility, and how it ensures data is kept securely etc.
How and where do we recruit?
Shane:
We do have a home page and I believe the previous designer pulled in all the dropdown menus so this could be an opportunity to prototype the experience from the home page and see if they can navigate to the pages. Or ask them how and where they expect ton find this page from the Home page without even digging into the dropdown navigation menus.

We could set up a few questions and have them scroll through the individual pages Evolving Web prepped (e.g. developers on “For Developers" page, marketers on “For Marketers” marketing page, general audience looking for information “About” Drupal, a user trying to “Download” specifics, etc).
When scrolling these page, where do you think information about "so and so" would direct you to get this info?
Were you hoping to get more information about “so and so”?
Was anything causing confusion (design, ordering of components, content titles, explanations are clear, etc.)
Do the photos speak well and capture the content? What would you expect to see if different?
What do you like about the design, what could be improved?

Next Steps

Test internal pages: for marketers, for devs, homepage (About?)
Let’s try to get it linked ot the homepage to get an idea of the journey
Emma to work on scripts
Recruitment: Make a list of people we can invite.
get a few clients that aren’t that knowledgeable about Drupal, ask previous trainees (marketers vs. devs).
10-20 minutes per interview
Aim to 10 people in a wide range of backgrounds, roles
Possibly reach out to people who responded to the previous Evaluator survey
Ask Tim which is the real navigation Figma or the prototype? Can we use the prototype menus to link them to the Figma?
Align with Kristin Romain with the key messaging framework being developed in January
