Hello, first things first this is a great module - especially when you want granular control over cron using your servers crontab to maintain Drupal cron.
I'm assuming this isn't a bug - so I'm opening as a feature request!
Having disabled Drupal's core "Automated Cron" module in favor of using "Single URL only" via this module, the "Last Cron Run" on the Drupal Status page never gets update.
After 24 hours it's then reported as an error/warning and the only way to make it go away is to trigger cron with the manual "Run cron" button on the status page or Drupal's system cron page.
It's not a big deal, but does get a little annoying (causing a slight panic making it so I have to check the Simple cron jobs page to make sure each cron job is and has been triggered when it should be).
If I'm missing something somewhere that would allow Simple Cron to update that notice please let me know. If not, I would definitely like to request a feature be added to update or override that notice on the default Drupal Status page.
Options to consider would be:
1. Just disable and remove the default status page last run and remove it from view
2. Override it with a Simple Cron block on the status page (would probably be better this way I would think) as you could probably extend the core block to display more meaningful information.
Other than all that thanks again for a great module...
