Batch process for updating weights and large amounts of entities.

Problem/Motivation

I recently tested the module on a website that is large, for example, the type of content is called news and it allows the use of paragraphs, which makes some nodes gigantic, so when I enter Node weights and reorder I click on save, it takes a long time to update and some cases it shows a 500 error, so I assume that when saving the order it updates searching in all the fields which greatly reduces the performance until the new order is finished saving.

So I ask is it possible to update the order just by looking for the weight field
