Better Exposed Filters compatibility

This module does not work with Better Exposed Filters, a very popular contrib module for enhancing views exposed filters. For example, if I create an exposed filter containing multiple options and use BEF to change the filter from a standard multi-select to a group of checkboxes, this change is not reflected in the form this module provides when I attempt to place the block. I am still able to use this module to add the filter to the block's allowed settings, and the filter still works as expected, but it appears as a standard multi-select field in the block config instead of the checkboxes I set with BEF.
