Events has a sceond copied User Menu

I added a new Events link under Structure > Menus > User Navigation. When a patron uses the Events link under their Account Menu on the public side, it creates a second "My Account" drop-down that references the top "Account Menu." This messy and a patron can not access the rest of menu.

I'm confused by the screenshot since this looks like a mixture of both staff level and customer-level elements on the page. Which sort of account were you logged in with in the screenshot and which page are you trying to let the user navigate to? Is it the events page at /events or the saved list of events?
