I had much the same question - if the parameters were stored in config then they could be overridden and, using the key module, secrets stored in a vault. What's the rationale to stick with state?
thanks.
I'm wondering if using State API for storing configuration rather than in a config object that can be exported or overridden is best practice?
Wondered if the maintainers would accept a patch to change how the credentials config is stored?
