I have tested this and it workd for me on a couple of the few Drupal 7 sites I still support.
In PHP 8.0 and Drupal 7, the following error is logged:
Deprecated function: uasort(): Returning bool from comparison function is deprecated, return an integer less than, equal to, or greater than zero in _workbench_access_menu_build_tree() (line 186 of ../sites/all/modules/workbench_access/modules/menu.workbench_access.inc).
There already exists a Drupal 9 issue, but not Drupal 7.
